Original Ending
Katy started the new routine, she saw herself as Rachel’s maid now, and signed “SLUT” in front of every task that she performed. Every time she did something wrong she was given a choice to delay the studies one week or receive a spanking. She chose the second option. She was always dressed in her daisy dukes style and barefoot because someday Rachel had said that the flip flops were only to be used outside the house. Sometimes as a punishment Rachel would not let Katy use shorts or skirts leaving her bottom available for spanks.
Even as she suffered constant humiliation, the physical work was helping her to get out of depression and she resolved to get on her feet again. One day she found her cell phone and dialed some numbers of the recently used ones until she reached Sara who promptly visited Katy.
When Sara knew all the recent events she was furious she had been having remorse nightmares for leaving Katy without High school Knowledge, but leaving her completely illiterate and declared unfit was outrageous. After Katy ended telling her story, they embraced and for the first time after all her downfall Katy finally cried, and Sara cried with her.
Then Katy said “I won't like to be regretting all my life for what I lost, I simply want a new beginning and I need your help for that, I need you to tutor me”.
Against Mary and Rachel, Sara began teaching Katy. They did not want it, but Sara said she had lawyer friends and won't tolerate more abuse, she even expulsed Rachel of the house.
Katy recovery was mixed, somehow Vicky had disturbed all her learning mechanisms. She was very fast to learn some things, even faster than before the transfers but in others she was slowest than average. Her well trained brain had an excellent memory and was good at complex thinking and even without the knowledge she discovered she was still very capable. Her spatial intelligence had grown and she could for example easily imagine 3d things from 2d blue prints, she had even some math hard-wired in her brain, an intuition for proportions and measures, she could instinctively know things like this cereal box will fit 12 times in this brown box. She could not explain the thought process behind but she was right anyway. In some ways she became like those savants that had extraordinary capabilities in certain areas of human thought while being completely unfit on other ones.
Katy and Sara became closer and they became really good friends despite the differences in knowledge from the soon to be college girl and the illiterate one. With Sara’s help Katy had cut her loses and accepted them as a fact, she just wanted to find a new path for her life. She started to laugh more often, she even laughed along with Sara when she realized what her “signature” really meant. Sara knew that in spite of her progress, Katy would never be able to graduate elementary school because of her problems with math, and she really sucked at orthography. However she was proud that she was learning to read again and her vocabulary was rapidly improving.
When classes were about to begin, Sara invited Katy to live with her in an apartment. She would attend a university that was in a city around 200 miles away from their hometown. After a few days of hesitation Katy agreed, it would be a fresh start and she was happy to be away from Mary and in fact from all the people in town to whom she would at sometime need to tell about her loses. A few days later the invitation resulted a necessary matter because a judge froze all her parents’ possessions and accounts because of some investigations regarding financial scams. In other times it would have been devastating for Katy but right now it did not concern her very much and was a push to cut all her links with her former life and start a new one.
In their new city, Katy tried to make herself useful and helped with the cleaning and cooking but even after her tutoring and her reading assignments, still had a lot of free time while Sara was at College or doing homework, so she started to take long walks along the city. One day she was strolling by a car shop when she recognized one of the mechanics. He was Mark, her crush until eight grade, they used to have a lot of fun together and laughed a lot back then. He had dropped sometime during eight grade and her parents forbidden her to see him again, he wasn't even her boyfriend then but they did not want to risk that she ended married with a loser.
When Katy looked at him she felt happy and guilty at the same time. “Maybe I should have fight my parents then” she thought. But Mark was very happy to see her and a little bit intrigued by her attire, a cut off short and a short t-shirt. He was very happy to see her again and embraced her effusively, he then hesitated a little, but she pulled him and he was surprised with the sincerity of her embrace. “I missed you”. Both of them said at the same time and then laughed.
In the next few days she started visiting more and more often the shop. She told Mark that an accident had altered her academic memories and she was relearning what she could from the beginning. The first instinct for Mark was to pity her but she stopped him “Don’t pity me, I am fine now, what is lost is lost, it’s behind me, I am here for a new start”.
She quickly became friend with the other mechanics, at first they teased for her ignorance and lack of manners, but she quickly gained their respect by being a good sport and by firing back with some clever jokes. They liked her and she was also a very nice sight with her Daisy style. She began to question them about the work and she learned fast, she really had talent for the mechanics, she now liked to do physical work and her spatial intelligence along with her analytical thinking made her very good at that job. Son she was working there and quickly became one of the best. She was glowing, she had now a way to earn her bacon.
The relation between Mark and Katy grew stronger and she was afraid that someday she would ask her to make love, she still dreaded the “Saturday syndrome”, (her inability to reach orgasm without a transfer), she had also had tried to keep sex out of her mind to avoid that the desire let her to do stupid things like in the past but when Mark finally asked her to stay at night, she decided to leave her fears behind and make a leap of faith.
Mark made love to her with rough manners but with a tender and loving spirit, and she finally reached an orgasm. It wasn't near the physical level of the shattering ones she got after the transfers, but it was sweet and more emotionally and personally fulfilling than anything that she had ever felt in the past. After that ,she rested her head in his chest; she had tears of joy in her eyes. “Would you move in with me?” he said and she answered “YES”.
Sometimes you need to have your life plans derailed or even completely crashed in order to be able to find a more fulfilling destiny than the one that was set by others for you to pursue.
