The five of us children walked alongside as the guards led us through a bunch of different corridors. We too were naked but were not placed through the same torment as them. According to the protocol, only females 12 and up were 'subjects' and processed accordingly. Each of the women was rudely shaven to their scalps while we kids looked on. Another nurse grabbed a second set and began with my aunt DEIDRE. My aunt had hair as long as my mother's. "Subjects under probationary period are not allowed to stand or walk until allowed to do so. Crawl like the rest. Crawl!"
